Creating the Satay

  • Shallots 200 g
  • Garlic 105.26 g
  • Grilled Turmeric 10 g
  • Coriander 5 g
  • Sugar 5 g
  • Beef 500 g
  • Coconut, grated and sautéed 0.5 g

Preparing the Peanut Sauce

  • Fried Peanuts 300 g
  • Brown Sugar 15 g
  • Red Chilli Pepper 100 g
  • Water 300 ml

Preparing the Accompaniments

  • Lontong, according to taste
  • Cayenne Pepper, to taste
  • Shallots, to taste
  1. Creating the Satay

    • Finely grind all ingredients, except meat and coconut.
    • Coat the meat with the ground spices.
    • Marinate for approximately 1 hour.
    • Grill the satay until cooked.
  2. Preparing the Peanut Sauce

    • Blend the sauce ingredients.
    • Sauté with some oil over a low heat until done.
    • Add it to the grilled satay.
  3. Preparing the Accompaniments

    • Thinly slice the red chillies and shallots.
    • Then sprinkle on top of lontong and satay.
