Fried Fish with Sambal Matah
Sambal Matah is one of the spicy traditional recipe from Bali island. The taste combined with the savoury fried pomfret fish will be a mouth watering main course menu to indulge your loyal customers.

Making the Sambal Matah

Red Chilli, sliced 100.0 g

Lemongrass, thinly sliced 1.0 pc

Lime Leaves, thinly sliced 5.0 pc

Cayenne Pepper, sliced 50.0 g

Shallots, sliced 40.0 g

Knorr Chicken Powder 1kg

Preparing Fish
- Season the fish with Knorr Chicken Powder, salt, sugar, pepper and lime juice. Flatten all parts of the fish.
- Fry the fish in hot oil until golden. Set it aside.

Making the Sambal Matah
- Mix shallots, lemongrass, cayenne pepper, sliced lime leaves and red chili.
- Season with sugar, Knorr Chicken Powder, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Mix well.
- Pour used heated oil used for frying the fish into the matah mixture. Mix well.

Serving
- Put the fish on a serving plate.
- Pour the chili sauce over the fish. Menu ready to serve.
