Preparing Gurame Fish

  • Gurame Fish, washed and cut into 4 pieces each 2 pc
  • Water 2030 ml
  • Wuluh Starfruit, sliced 3 pc
  • Spring Onions, sliced 3 pc
  • Lemongrass Stalks 3 pc
  • Tomatoes 2 pc
  • Lime Leaves 3 pc
  • Black Pepper 1 g
  • Sugar 10 g

Prepare the Spices

  • Cayenne Pepper 5 pc
  • Ginger Segment 1 pc
  • Bay Leaves 3 pc
  • Cooking Oil 5 ml
  1. Preparing Gurame Fish

    • Wash the gurame fish with Knorr Lime Powder water to reduce the fishy odor.
    • Add all the ingredients to the water, except the fish.
    • After the water comes to a boil, add the fish.
    • Reduce the heat, to a simmer so the fish isn't overcooked.
  2. Prepare the Spices

    • Sauté the seasoning ingredients on low heat.
  3. Preparing Gurame Fish Soup

    • Add the spice ingredients to the gurame fish soup.
    • Stir, and check the flavour.
    • Plate and serve.
