Preparing the Ribs

  • Beef Ribs 1500 g
  • Water 2000 ml

Preparing the Pindang Rib Spices

  • Galangal Fingers 2 pc
  • Ginger 4 cm
  • Tamarind Water 20 g
  • Bay Leaves 3 pc
  • Tomatoes 2 pc
  • Palm Sugar 20 g
  • Salty Soy Sauce 15 ml

Preparing the Pindang Ribs Soup

  • Fried Onion 2 pc
  • Spring Onion 1 pc
  • Basil Leaves 5 pc
  • Cayenne Pepper, crushed 1 pc
  1. Preparing the Ribs

    • Heat the water in a pan to a boil, then add the beef ribs.
    • Wait for up to 15 minutes to let the impurities out.
    • Dispose of water and rinse the ribs.
  2. Preparing the Pindang Rib Spices

    • Mix all the ingredients.
  3. Preparing the Pindang Ribs Soup

    • Stir-fry the prepared pindang ribs spices until fragrant.
    • Add the stir-fried spices to the beef ribs stew.
    • Cook until the ribs are tender.
    • Once soft, turn off the heat, then add the tomatoes and cayenne pepper.
