Fried Cassava


A simple and delicious fried cassava dish, as a typical Indonesian snack, is presented with a unique presentation. The combination of black sauce made from squid ink applied to it can transform the ordinary appearance of fried cassava into something extraordinary.

Preparation

  1. Fried Cassava

    • Fried Cassava: Peel the skin off the cassava, then wash and clean it. Add the ground coriander, Knorr Chicken Powder, and crushed garlic, then boil in boiling water for 45 minutes. After that, soak in cold water and drain. Before frying, soak the cassava for 30 seconds in water mixed with ground coriander, Knorr Chicken Powder, and crushed garlic. Finally, fry the cassava until crispy and puffed.
    • Black Sauce Spread: Boil squid ink with water, along with ginger, lemongrass, and lime leaves, then cook until fragrant. Spread it on fried cassava until evenly coated black, then fry again until the texture is dry and resembles charcoal.
    • Knorr Oyster black garlic oil: Combine in a container (mayonnaise, black garlic, and edible charcoal powder) and stir until well mixed.
    • Serve and plate it.
